Substation with disconnectors and power transformers

Two founders. One network of experts.

Two founders who carry the company, and experts who join as soon as their discipline is needed. That keeps the line short and the team exactly as large as your project requires.

Who we are

Two founders, one partner, associated experts.

No management layer on top of the work. Two founders who carry the company and stand in the projects themselves. Alongside them, a permanent HR & recruitment business partner, and experts who join as soon as their discipline is needed. Decisions are made on the spot.

Willem Bonnes

Co-founder

Willem Bonnes

Project Manager · IPMA

Initiator and the face of NexON to the market. Leads the strategy, the pipeline and the steering committees. Project manager with deep experience at TenneT and on the contractor side, from concept to handover, with a focus on large HV substations.

Egbert Jansen

Co-founder

Egbert Jansen

Stakeholder & Contract Manager · IPMA

The commercial and contractual anchor. Stakeholders, permits, UAV-GC and FIDIC are his territory. He makes sure agreements are right at the front end, so the project team never has to repair them at the back end.

Marissa Cornelissen

Business partner

Marissa Cornelissen

People & Organisation

Makes sure the team grows with the right people. Recruitment and selection of senior specialists and trainees, onboarding and the soft side of a hard discipline. Keeps the culture sharp while NexON scales up.

Jorris Kruithof

Associated expert

Jorris Kruithof

Engineering Manager · IPMA

Responsible for the technical conscience. Translates client questions into engineering that can be built: primary, secondary and tertiary. Deep specialisation in HV substations (380/220/110 kV) and GIS bays.

Aise de Pagter

Associated expert

Aise de Pagter

Project Controls Manager · IPMA

Keeps everything on track operationally. Risk, schedule, quality, finance, document control, where common sense and discipline meet. Builds the processes that keep NexON itself scalable internally.

Flexible pool

Senior specialists

PMs, engineers, contract and stakeholder managers, project controls. Deployed per project, under the direction of the founders.

Talent programme

Trainees and juniors

Supervised by the founders and the associated experts. That is how the next generation grows up in high-voltage work.

The IPM model, with the roles assigned.

The IPM model is the Dutch standard for managing complex infrastructure projects. TenneT, Liander, Rijkswaterstaat and the major contractors all work to this model. So do we, and unlike an ad-hoc assembled team, we already know each other's role boundaries, ways of working and pitfalls.

  • One project manager who takes on scope, schedule and steering committee. Willem.
  • One stakeholder and contract manager who keeps stakeholders, permits and UAV-GC, FIDIC or Bouwteam contracts under control. Egbert.
  • One technical manager who turns scope into workable engineering. Jorris, as soon as the project calls for it.
  • One project controls manager who makes everything measurable and steerable. Aise, as soon as the project calls for it.

Why this works

Value from day one. No run-up.

Performing from day one
Forming, storming, norming: we have been through all that. With us, every project starts in the performing phase.
Direct lines
One point of contact. One project team. No intermediate layers, no miscommunication between disciplines.
Ownership
The founders sit at the table themselves, not staff on loan from an agency. You feel that difference in pace and commitment.
IPMA discipline
The same standards as TenneT, Rijkswaterstaat (the national infrastructure agency) and the major contractors. No lone cowboys, still fast.

One half-day with a founder

Directly with Willem or Egbert; together we are NexON. We come by, look at what is stuck and show it to you in black and white, even if we turn out not to be the right party.
