After one half-day, this is on your table.

18 months at a standstill. The building is finished. The power isn't.

One half-day at your office · € 250 and two good cups of coffee

Pick a half-day

No payment now; we invoice afterwards. If it gives you no new insight, we don't send an invoice.

Six areas. Each green, amber or red, and what needs doing.

Not a model we happen to like, but the six places where energy projects run aground in practice. We go through all six, with your documents on the table.

Money

Cost engineering

Cost estimate per scenario, contingency for additional work, and what a variant really costs. The number your steering committee works with.

Risk

What is still holding this project up

The risk register: how likely, what it costs, and who owns the mitigation.

Organisation

Roles and mandate

Who takes which decision, and whether they are actually allowed to. Delays sit here more often than in the engineering.

Time

Time and lead times

The critical path, the lead time of long-lead equipment, and which date is therefore truly fixed.

Information

One truth in the documents

Whether your steering committee can actually take a decision on what is on the table now, or whether the documents contradict each other.

Quality

Engineering and verification

Design choices, standards, and what will later be rejected by the grid operator or the permitting authority.

This is what you get

  • A risk dossier of 6 to 10 pages, in the language of a steering committee
  • A realistic timeline, with the lead times built in
  • The three moves that have to come first, and who is needed for them
  • The dossier remains yours, even if you do nothing further with us

Don't expect this

  • No full engineering, that is Operation Control
  • No talks with the grid operator on your behalf, not yet
  • No permit application or calculation
  • No sales pitch disguised as advice

From invitation to dossier in two weeks.

1 working day

You invite, we call

You pick a half-day. Within one working day, one of us calls to confirm it and to ask which documents we may review in advance. Then we come prepared.

3 to 4 hours

The half-day at your office

With your project manager and someone who holds the budget. We go through the six areas, look at the site and ask the questions you would rather not hear.

5 working days

The dossier in your inbox

With a short explanation by phone or in your steering committee. Then you decide: press on yourself, or have us run Operation Control.

What people ask us.

Why €250 and not free?

Because it is work: a half-day with two senior experts, plus a dossier afterwards. And because the price filters out the non-serious. We would rather work a day for someone who means it than hold ten free introduction meetings. That is why you get our full attention.

What if nothing comes out of it?

If, after the dossier, you feel it has been of no use to you, we don't send an invoice. No conditions, no discussion. Your honest opinion is worth more to us than €250.

Who from our side needs to be there?

At minimum the project manager and someone who controls the budget. Ideally also whoever deals with the grid operator. The more truth at the table, the sharper the dossier.

Do we need to provide documents?

Please do, but it is not required. What helps: the application to the grid operator, the current schedule and the latest steering committee report. If nothing comes, we work with what is said at the table.

Are we obliged to continue afterwards?

No. The dossier is yours, including the recommendations. Many clients take on the first moves themselves. If you want us to continue, that is Operation Control, at a fixed price and no hourly billing.

One half-day, and you know where you stand.

After that, your steering committee can take a decision again.
